We’re back on the folding bikes for our first ride of 2026! Join us as we explore a beautiful section of Hadrian’s Cycleway (National Cycle Route 72), starting from Prudhoe and heading through Wylam towards Newcastle.

This ride was extra special because it was Katie’s first time back on a bike in over 30 weeks following a serious ankle injury. We test out the newly resurfaced tracks, visit George Stephenson’s birthplace, and enjoy the smooth Wylam Wagonway. Whether you’re into folding bike adventures or looking for family-friendly cycle routes in Northumberland, this path is a must-see.
