    That’s what the little bits below the cutter are for. The big one is to crimp (gently) cable housing ferrules, and the little one to crimp cable ends.

  2. I thought you were gonna ask if you could trim your pup’s nails with it. Haha. Yes, the knobby bits inside under the cutter part are designed for that purpose though I find it somewhat difficult when crimping behind the seat post remote lever as the cutter part gets in the way.

  3. I find that a decent set of vice grips will crimp the cable caps better than the park tool.

    You can buy it’s annoying to use. It’ll be easier with a regular set of pliers.

  6. Im left handed and still grab the needle nose pliers to crimp cuz my brain goes into a weird mode trying to hold these and do the crimping.

    Yes. Use the section that is dark and has a Park Tool label on it (in your photo).
