Italy quietly sent Ukraine a weapon almost nobody was talking about, and now it is tearing apart one of Russia’s favorite wartime myths. The Centauro B1 is not a tank, but that is exactly why it matters. Fast, hard-hitting, and modified for the drone age, this Italian 8×8 gun system gives Ukraine something dangerous: mobile direct-fire support that can strike, relocate, and survive long enough to matter. In this video, we break down why the Centauro B1 matters, how Ukraine’s 78th Air Assault Regiment is using it, and why this one vehicle says a lot more about the future of armored warfare than most people realize.

• How Italy’s Centauro B1 finally appeared in confirmed Ukrainian service
• Why Russia’s “tanks are obsolete” narrative starts falling apart here
• What makes the Centauro different from a main battle tank
• How Ukraine modified it with anti-drone cages, grilles, and standoff protection
• Why speed is becoming one of the most important forms of battlefield survival
• How the 78th Air Assault Regiment may be using it as a rapid direct-fire strike platform
• Why wheeled fire support vehicles still matter in a drone-saturated war
• What this means for Russia’s defensive positions and battlefield assumptions

  1. As an Italian, I'm happy that the Centauro B1 can help Ukraine. When I heard we were sending this platform, I thought it was useless, but apparently the Ukrainians have found a way to use it effectively. Most importantly, it's NATO-standard and much easier to maintain than any tank. SLAVA UKRAINI, SLAVA EUROPE…!!!!

  2. 5:17 to 5:37 as an italian i must say… bravo my guy ahahah! you managed to pack such a dense series of joke there both accurate and funny you can't but laugh! xD
i felt attacked but i won't complain because that's 100% true reality, italian burocracy is something else

  3. Ukraine has received weaponry from many countries, and they always find ways to use these
weapons in ways the manufacturer never thought of.
I've no doubt, the Ukrainian AF
will use this " middle " tank as effectively as possible.

  4. Ukrainians scored a record distance of destroying a Russian tank 5.5km using the Leopard 2 tank . For sniping again Ukrainian scored a record distance of 3800m and a previous record beaten by 3000m . Yep these Ukrainians are something a constant nightmare for Putin .

  5. Its a tank turet mounted on a light wheeled chasis,,,nothing new there and the ones sent before to Ukraine got decimated by drones and artillery. The wheels get bogged down in mud too and it cant withstand RPG hits either. The USA tried it in their stryker brigades and then cancelled the whole thing. Also all the previous kit Italy sent to Ukraine has been trash like the mortars that dont work. Hope these things can do some good but as I said nothing new. Russia is not concerned. The US bradleys while maintenance heavy have proven deadly against tanks again and again, the US has thousands more laying about, that would do more good.

  6. Putin brainwashed himself😂😂😂😂 I'm laughing but it's actually real. Listening to his propagandists whining all the time completely psychologically conditioned not only himself but most of the country. Everyone who listen to that crazy 💩 is being conditioned by the day.

  7. I am proud that Italy has provided substantial help, without seeking publicity, to a country under attack like Ukraine. All of Europe, and democratic nations in general, should allow Ukraine to stop and push back the invading Russia.

  8. Ukraine just passed on an order of new APC; they said the money was better spent on drones. But no matter what in the end you still have to have bots on the ground in the end

  9. Basically it’s a light tank On wheels with a good gun but truthfully Imo The B1’s should’ve also been supported by a Few 1-120 variants with the 120mm gun
