Looking to get back into Bmx after a 10+ year hiatus. Old guy now, but plan on riding some park and trails. I saw this t1 Ruben for sale, and was wondering if anyone knew how old it was. It seems like it could be a relic from my time (2000s). Has there been any advances in frame tech since my last build (s&m LAF) that I should consider buying something more recent? Or should I go check this bad boy out?

It has an internal headset so it’s not super old.
I’ve noticed people resell their Ruben’s. They are traded more than barcodes or sfa.
I think they look great but never rode one. I grew up with a barcode, now ride a Sierra.
Give it a spin see if you like it. More recent doesn’t mean better necessarily.
It’s beautiful. But that chains wheel might as be aluminum foil.
