Switched from Cervélo Soloist to Scott Addict Gravel 40 and way happier
I really wanted to make the Soloist work, but my body just never adapted to the position. No matter what I tried, it always felt a bit off especially on longer rides.
Gravel was always in the back of my mind, and now that I made the jump, the difference is huge. The Addict Gravel 40 just feels way more natural and comfortable. It’s still fast, but way more forgiving and stable.
I’m still doing long rides, but now I actually enjoy them instead of fighting the bike the whole time.
Also didn’t expect how much I’d like the freedom not worrying about road quality and just going wherever. Helps that I live in a city with a mountain nearby.
Anyone else made a similar switch from a race bike to gravel?

The gravel bike is the perfect all-rounder. You picked very well, love the colour scheme, looks like it’s ready for anything. Upgrade path – carbon wheels, and you already have the frame bag!!
