I’m disassembling a 90’s Dyno VFR to knock off the rust, lube, and replace worn parts. This will be a project with my 10yo son and will be gifted to him when we’re done.
I have never rebuilt a bike before. Does anybody have a reference for reassembly of a bike? Inexpensive improvements? I haven’t touched a BMX in almost 40 years 😂 I searched around Google and YouTube, i founds bits and pieces. I’m hoping for a more thorough guide. Thanks 🙏

It’s sounds silly, but try dipping a piece of tinfoil in water and rubbing it on the chrome. It will clean a lot of that right off. Then polish and it will look as good as new.
