Deity all day, they do the same thing, deity looks way better in person IMO. I have them on 3 bikes, one replaced a black version of that same Spank stem
Deity for sure, love the looks for the copperhead and the finish is amazing
Flip a coin or factor in shipping. I’ve had cheap and expensive stems over the last 3 decades and haven’t noticed any real difference between any of them.
Both basically the same. Deity looks nicer to me. The second looks cheap.
What about industry nine ?
The raceface turbine purple is what I have. It’s only $49 at jenson right now. It’s darker in person then on their site. You could image search for ones installed on person bikes to see it’s real color.
Deity has my vote for gravity bike.
a few more grams, but stronger overall.
Spank for a trail bike. Way lighter in comparison and grams matter on a trail bike.. that number increase with length quite a bit for the deity, so a longer stem will be much lighter with the spank, 20+ grams for 40mm and up
I have a copperhead on one of my bikes. I would never advise someone to get one if they were just looking for a functional stem because you can find those for much cheaper. However, it is a very nice looking chunk of metal. It’s a great finish that really pops and makes a cool bike look even better. They also have some nice clamps and other pieces that you can color match to your stem and also look good, if that’s your thing.
Between the two, deity. I have one in red on my bike and their carbon risers. Great set up
which one do you like looking at when you’re riding? ribbed or smooth?
