Welcome to Part 3 of our Alsace loop. We were completely enchanted to catch a rare, sunny +18°C (64°F) day to show you the true heart of this region. Today’s bike ride is all about the rural life and the perfectly preserved fairytale towns that make Alsace so famous.

Our virtual cycling route takes us through the iconic streets of Riquewihr and Ribeauvillé. You’ll see the legendary timber-framed houses (Fachwerk) and ancient medieval walls that have guarded these towns for centuries.
We cycle right through the prestigious Grand Cru vineyards, where some of the world’s finest wines are born. While the vines are just waking up for the season, the blooming magnolias and cherry blossoms add an extra touch of magic to the cozy atmosphere of these historic villages.
