    I heard everyone falls the first time they try clipless, but how many of you capture it on video?

      Mine wasn’t on camera, but I took out a group of mountain bikers when I tried to get off the trail to let them pass. I laughed, they screamed and cursed. Good times

      My first was clipped in on a MTB. At a very popular trailhead that is also a very popular brewery, lots of witnesses lol

      I wish I had my first fall on camera, it happened soooo slowly and I just gave in

      he’s a lucky one. just delete the footage and no one will ever know.

      i did it right in front of all my cycling buddies to their lifelong amusement

      Could be worse, last time I did that I was on canal and the west side highway in manhattan, probably had a few hundred people laugh and ask if I was ok

      I don’t have the video, but traffic cameras probably have it, maybe a dash cam or two

      I have never fallen with the clipless pedals…

      …because I used to ride toe clip pedals with straps before that.

      At least you didn’t do it in front of a group of cyclists and now relive the memory, even 20 years later, whenever you approach a red light….

      I’ve fallen over clipped in, but it’s never been because I’ve wanted to put a foot down and found myself unable to clip out. I don’t get how people struggle to clip out while they’re still rolling, and why people insist on clipping out after they’ve essentially stopped…

      I think I’m the only person I know who managed to not fall on my first time with clipless. Have I fallen since? Yes. Was it because I could unhook fast enough? Also, yes. Still happens from time to time when I space tf out hahahaha

      I fell the first time I used them and fell several times throughout my time riding.
