
I am familiar with this type of rack, it was given to me by a neighbor. It just occurred to me that this may be a front mounted rack, rather than the rear one I assumed it to be.
I am looking for confirmation one way the other, and the brand-name if anyone recognizes it.
Either way, I will need to add something to the mounting bracket so it can be attached to the bike.
I want to put it on a 90s era Trek hybrid. Suggestions are welcome.
Apologies if this is the wrong sub to ask In, I figured the touring people would have some expertise with racks.

I think that’s configured as a front rack but it may be possible to remove the legs and turn them around to better fit the angle of the seat stays. Of course this is likely bike geometry specific and some trial firing is recommended, perhaps it’s a front only rack.
