Hi bike fans. I would be so grateful for any help/confirmation on selecting the right axle adapter to attach my burley hitch to my bike. I want to start enjoying it but have procrastinated since I bought the hitch last spring due to not being able to figure this out.
Main axel (upper rod, first pic) is too short to secure when the hitch is added. I was given one (lower rod on first pic) that’s too wide. I tried to figure it out on RobertAxleProject but the one they suggest still looks thick? (https://robertaxleproject.com/product/160-172mm-1-0-mm-thread-for-hitch-mount-trailer/ )
Key info:
– Trailer: Burley
– bike: Felt Sport e95
– axle thread: 22mm length, 1.0 depth (I think)
– axel length: 165mm
Thank you so much in case anyone can help me identify the right product!

Yeah, the second one is a thru axle adapter, a different type. You have a quick release which is just too short. Just pop by any bike shop, they should have longer QR rods.
141 boost qr skewers may be an option as they are at least 6mm longer than a more standard rear
that hitch is meant for a bolt on axle, [burley has an adapter for QR skewers](https://burley.com/en-eu/collections/hitch-adapter/products/hitch-adapter)
