My partner wanted to do a two day overnight trip so we booked into a bunkhouse with a couple of mates joining us. The journey was Manchester to Froggart and then home again via a different route the next day. The weather was good with only a bit of hail and rain over both days and some sunshine in between the clouds too. it was the first route my partner has planned and we had some amazing variation in surfaces and gradient, a great first go at route planning and she even gave us a 100km return journey which was on her birthday.
Total distance was 175km with 2800m elevation.

Looks like a fun couple of days. Photos 8-10 are what I picture whenever I think about the Sherlock Holmes story, The Hound of the Baskervilles. 😁
