  1. 4:25 is obviously a Börek(-stange [German for rod]) originated in Turkey [old Turkish bur – to roll)
Often filled with spinach which you presumably would have recognized or in your case most likely Feta cheese.

  2. Love watching your adventures so much I’m planning the EuroVelo 5 to Italy in June I can’t wait to see how much I see and do thanks for the inspiration

  3. Comment for the algorithm. Safe travels.
    Best regards from North-West Germany
Edit: that chapel was sponsored by Michael Ungethüm, a medical technologist from that area, died in 2022.

  4. I have a friend who’s fluent in German and also German culture and he said another road cyclist may (or may not) acknowledge another by lifting their little finger. He told me expect “grumpy” people on my impending trip. I mentioned the same to some Dutch colleagues who said they get annoyed if people wave at them as they think something is wrong and you carry on riding past 😅

  5. My friend! As a fellow cyclist I can't explain the pain of life here in Canada. Twice hit by cars where I awoke in hospital, 5 broken bones each time, with countless near extinction moments more. I only dream of bike paths through the landscape, not flippin' highways!!! Jealousy is a real thing!!! Thanks for sharing your Dash!!! – Davey.

  6. 20:40 The old tradition of chapel foundations is still alive in predominantly catholic southern Germany. This one was established by the head of a local medical company as a place for reflection, meditation, and religious services in nature. Wealth and importance of the founder cannot be denied but shouldn't be the point here. 😅

  7. To be watching this for free is an absolute privilege when you think of the crap they put out on subscription tv. 🇩🇪 looks like an amazing place to cycle through and seeing the alps must have been a beautiful experience. God bless you my man 🙌🙏❤️

  8. 20:29 The Kapelle St. Johannes und Jakobus am Witthoh is a modern chapel inaugurated in 2003/2004 near Immendingen, Germany, built as a place for meditation, silence, and prayer. Commissioned by Professor Dr Michael Ungethüm, former CEO of Aesculap AG, it was designed by architect Günter Hermann and named for saints Johannes and Jakobus. Great upload, and may your travels be safe.

  9. At 21 minutes, it's a Mohnzopf mit Streusel and you're supposed to cut slices and eat it in slices 😂 The routes are for tractors and cyclists. But the cycling route down the Danube goes to the Black Sea and you might have followed quite a bit of it from what I saw. It's nice watching you riding through my area. Greetings from the area of Ulm.

  10. You seem to be the cyclist’s cycling channel 🙂
You’re missing a trick not going through cities though. Even in the UK the city cycling infrastructure is great and amazing on the continent. Better pastries too 🙂

  11. Great video, route looks interesting. I can't get over the food thing though, surely you can't just do that on bread based products, id need some proper food

  12. Where's the rest of your pizza? I give bigger pieces to the grandkids. Lovely woods. How are the legs? My back gives me issues on a day long ride. I'm looking forward to riding through those countries soon.
What a wuss, could've dried off the other side 🙄 of the water.

  13. Another great video! I just did my short 53 km fat bike ride today on some backwoods trails. At 2,600 kms towards my 12,000 km goal for this year.
Your channel is inspiring and reminds me how relaxing it is out in country trails. Here the noise, bears and occasional guy on an ATV you have to watch out for.

  14. Enjoying watching this journey! Great job with the filming! It can't be easy to set all those shots up and then go back and get the camera.
What time of month were you in for this? March? Early April?

  15. These England – Bosnia videos are such a joy to watch, with the wife & I eagerly awaiting the notification on Sunday afternoon that you've released your latest installment. The shots of the Alps was fantastic, great videography as always. Your videos never fail with the visuals, can't wait till the next video. 👍🍻chapeau.
