First new ride in 14 years

First new ride in 14 years and it’s a beaut!

Ordered the Grail CF SL 7 Aero in early March, had it delivered on Monday, got it assembled Friday afternoon and then got out for an evening roll before the sun set.

Early impressions are it is super responsive, aggressive in its geometry and comfortable. Really liking the colour and design. Would have preferred a matte paint job, but still very much love it.

I even bought new shoes to go with it (black and white of course….) as the old MTB SPDs I was using were close to 20 years old and held together with duct tape and I couldn’t befoul this wonderful machine with such apparel.
