Make sure the tire bead is all the way down in the middle of the rim; use some soapy water as a lubricant between the tire and the rim (there is also a special product from Schwalbe). I would start opposite of the valve so the tire can easily seat down into the middle of the rim.

  2. You should end at the valve. Then the bead of the tyre can go deep in the groove on the opposite side. This will give you more slack to get the last part in. I mound them without levers .

Stick a lever at one end, and with another one, start from the other end, 1 cm at a time, and you’ll do it. It’s very simple.

  4. If you’re having to use too much power, soapy water, 8 tire spoons, etc. you’re doing something wrong.

I have a system. I kneed the tire like I’m making bread. Put the far away bead on and make sure it’s in the center groove, work the other side starting at the valve. Get as much on making sure it’s also in the center groove. It If I need more than a single lever then I check to make sure everything is correct.
