Is the front clip too high?

new to having a Brompton. loving it so far but I've noticed the front hook doesn't really seem to fit very snug against the frame… there's a lot of clearance between where I'd assumed the frame would sit against the clip and where it does actually go.

I've only noticed this because sometimes the front has unclipped while carrying.

So is that front clip not in the correct locking position? and if so, what do I do to fix it?
