  1. Its all about balance. Just fully commit and youll start learning the balance you need

Most of my responses on here are “go faster” but your case might be the exception. I say this because it looks like you’re throwing your foot down before you even make contact with the rail, so it might not just be a commitment issue.

Slow down, get your hops right first. Get a sense of the pull needed to get to rail height. Get a sense of the feeling of hitting pegs-to-rail. Sense of how slick the rail is and how to pull off. Hell, do it from a practical stand-still. Then incrementally add speed.

If you’ve already done all of the above, just take it a bit slower at least. You are definitely hauling like you’re trying to get across the whole thing.

Edit: changed “ the pull needed to get to RAIL HIM RIGHT” to “rail height”. lol. What a great autocorrect mistake.

Is it that you’re scared of your pegs missing? Or is it you’re hopping and putting your body past the rail instead of over it?

If it’s the first, work on building confidence on getting on the rail by going slower and work on building speed after.

If it’s the latter, focus on hopping and landing on top instead of landing on the side of the rail

Front peg goes on first. Back peg follows. Similar to hopping onto a tall ledge and pushing forward once your front wheel makes contact to get that back end up there.

With the advice out of the way… JUST COMMIT!!!
