Definitely. It’s a cute bike. New tires + stem, and then rip it!
edit: And it’s a surprisingly high quality frame + fork! see u/GenericName187 ‘s comment

Yes, for that price it’s a good deal.

I’d pick this up.

That’s back when Schwinn was still somewhat reputable.

100% would buy that just for the bag and the bottle holder, tune it up, and then give the bike away to someone in need.

Yes for both!

Whoa! Definitely worth it. This is a lugged CrMo frame with 200GS components from an era when Schwinn was still a respectable bike-shop brand. It’s definitely r/xbiking worthy, if you want to make it cool.
It’d also be a great bike to fix up and donate: highly durable with good utility, easily maintained.
If you don’t want anything but the frame bag, maybe ask the thrift shop if you can buy the bag for $5 and leave the bike for someone who really wants it?

Selle seat alone is worth the bike. It’s likely a steel frame so it’s solid as fuck. I’d buy this instantly. The frame bag and bottle holder are a plus. Just get new tubes and tires, tune it up and it’s good to go.

Its a True Temper double butted chromoly frame, not what you would expect for a bike with 200GS components
Yes, this was one of Schwinn’s best eras, when they got Panasonic to build them a lot of nice bikes. This isn’t the most high-end spec, but it all looks solid and original. Should be pretty easy to get it riding. On top of it all, it’s a super fun looking bike.
