  1. The torque is the force the spring can hold the shoe with then it is clicked into place.

  2. Is it the hardness level of the release mechanism? Generally you can change it yourself, but if it is a leaf spring mechanism (I’m thinking Time) or some other non adjustable thing, you have to choose which one it ships with?

    I bet these are Look Keo Blade pedals. The nm is for the release tension, lower is easier to clip in and out of. The mm is for the P factor. (I think that’s the designation, effectively the distance that the pedals add to the Q factor.)
