Latest abomination to come out of my workshop.

I picked up this 1994-ish GT Timberline FS from a yard sale for $15 last fall. It looked like it had been ridden no more than a dozen times. The paint is nearly perfect except for a couple spots of cable rub. I've been slowly building it up for my girlfriend. It fits her better than me. The plan was to make it feel a little more modern and more capable. The components on it were nothing special so we swapped out nearly everything, except the seatpost and front derailleur, with stuff from our parts bin. Converted it to 650b and now this thing feels like a tank. I took it for a test spin and now I want to find one with a larger frame for myself.
