I bought this shifter second hand and saw that the Shifter was completely greased up. So i flooded the whole shifter with wd-40 as I earlier had problems with grease turn to resin and block up the moving parts. Now the shifter is stuck at the „upper Gear“ and I can’t shift down. I can’t see any broken parts as I opened up the lever a little bit. I’m Thankful for any tips!

Put a cable in and see if you can get the ratchet to move by pulling on the cable when you press the shift lever (mimicking the derailleur spring).
the ratchet wont work without cable tension
