    Those were fantastic. True Temper OX Platinum tubing. Solid build quality. Couldn’t ask for more at the time.

    Very nicely-made bikes. I think this year had Reynolds 753 tubing, IIRC. (Edit: no, True Temper Platnum Steel) I know a guy with a Zurich from around the same time; full Ultegra, Rolf wheels and Reynolds 853 tubing; I’d still rather have a Poprad myself.

    I’ve got an older Poprad, it’s a cool bike! I tossed a Straggler fork on it for less toe overlap and a disc up front.

    These are not common where I live, whoch is shame, because they look really good and solid.

    cool bikes, but the geometry never worked for me. The top tubes in particular are far too long.

    Big love for those Lemond frames. Too bad it ended. But good on Greg for speaking out about Armstrong’s doping and f*ck Trek for bowing to Lance and ceasing the production partnership.
