great video – thank you for creating this! your energy/passion blow me away every time i watch your channel.
Since French words are not always pronounced how they are spelled, it’s difficult to understand proper nouns, since you don’t anglicize them, and rarely use subtitles.
I couldn’t understand the train station you were referencing , where you catch the train to Fontainebleau.
I loved this video! It may be your best one, yet.
Despite the dozens of times I’ve been to Paris & other parts of France, I’ve never considered Fontainebleau. It’s now on my list. I love that you included historical references. You’re good at this.🎉
Great info! Thanks!
Loved the video! Definitely want to visit ! I have been to Versailles twice and I agree with your assessments on both. ❤
Thanks for a great video Arielle. Have visited Fontainebleau before but excited to go again when we visit Paris later this year. Best wishes!
You are living my best life! I really appreciate the love you put in your videos. 🙂
Hi! Love your work! What happened to your apartment hunting? xo
Excellent video! Just please remember to keep the background music much lower which is more enjoyable for viewers and then doesn’t require us to constantly turn up the volume when you’re speaking and then down again when you’re not.
Need to watch again before my next trip to Paris! 👏👏
I love how you speak so clearly that I can watch on 3.0x speed even without any problems and even that feels slow 😂 btw have you thought about putting the IPA transcription of the French words that you mention? feel like that would be very helpful for the viewers
Excellent alternative to Versailles! Thank you for another thoroughly researched and interesting video.
We are headed to Paris for the first time and had planned to go to Versailles for a day trip (got tickets reserved via Paris Museum Pass) but now I'm rethinking that and doing Fontainebleau instead! It is also included in the PMP and doesn't require a reservation (unlike Versailles). Thanks for sharing!
Merci Arielle. Je vais l'acheter.
Lovely vlog! Thank you for sharing ☘️🍁
thank you so much i love it you did an amazing job bravo kee it up i love seeing this kind of review thank you
Hi Arielle – my husband and I loved this video and we are now Team Fountainebleu – we think it will suit us better than Versaille. I am going to buy your guide now but we are planning and booking ahead. Is Sunday a good day to visit? Will the village be vibrant?
Update! I bought the guide and highly recommend to anyone; even after a quick perusal I can see that Sunday is an excellent day to visit. Yay!
Je suis intéressé.
What type of physical building is a covenant?
Great video. I’m going to try and squeeze in a trip to Fontainebleau when I next visit Paris. It looks absolutely gorgeous!! Thanks Arielle 🙏🙏🙏
Who was Diana?
Arielle, what is your take on the Macrons vs Owens scandal ? I love your channels ❤
I decided on Fountainbleau and was excited that you were planning a video. I was hoping for more information on Timing and lunch spots.
Great video Arielle.😊
Bonjour! What is the name of the village you recommend seeing that is close to Fontainebleau? Sounds like it starts with a letter 'B'; would that be Bourron-Marlotte? Thank you!
I went on March and no itenerary and loved just walking around but during my last day there was a rally and all trains closed
living in France really suits you
you have this beautiful glow
I've noticed this chateau are one of the most furnished Chateau compared to the ones in Loire Valley. To see a fantastic French garden, you must visit Chateau Villadry.
Please stop saying FountainBLOW.It’s irritating!!!!
Why is it called the Cart Pond?
Arielle and Jean , have you thought of moving to Fountain Bleu?
I like your videos… they are excellent! And you have a good French pronunciation. It's just a very mall thing… but if you could pronounce "bleau" in Fontainbleau correctly… that would be great. It makes me think of "blow" and makes me cringe 😅
Best regards from a German from Munich, Germany.
Thank you for the video. But I wanted to ask if you think it is still worth to go see if I am visiting in winter (December)
is it possible to do a short hike in the forest the same day after visiting the castle? What transportation would be required? Thanks!
i visited Fontainebleau for study exchange as a middle school student 😮
And most restaurants closed between 4 pm and 7 pm.
