Looking at a 2026 Sutra LTD as a commuter, weekend gravel/trail bike. I likely won't be bike packing or touring (yet). I like the upright position as I'm use to upright flat bars seeing around traffic. Is there any reason to avoid the Sutra LTD for this use case? Seems a bit overkill, but it seems like a forever bike. I prioritize comfort, but would consider a 2nd wheelset for on road efficiency.
I have read these bikes ride best loaded down. My mind tells me I should consider a Rove/Libre, but the heart really wants the Sutra.

Sutra is an everything bike. I don’t think you’ll regret it. Mine has changed with me over the years. The tire clearance just gives you options in the future. The steel is burly and will last.
