Van der Poel is a champion . Tadej is already one of the best of All Time , and hes not done yet. Van der Poel is an Expert on Hills ( Not big ones ) and Cobblestones . Both are freinds , Champions and each one has there specialty /s . Tadej does everything very well and Van der Poel is Phenomenal at the Hills and Cobbles . Have to give Tadej the Guts for trying Paris Roubaix , a race Not suited to Him but its a race that is exactly up Van der Poels alley and a race that Van der Poel is experienced at. Id Tadej comes in 4th or even 3rd place , It is a great accomplishment to him and only further proves Tadej`s Greatness . Both Cyclists are Phenomenal .
I honestly think MvdP has a perfect mentality for an athlete: he's confident but not cocky, he doesn't fear opponents, but he does respect them. No clue why some people hate him so much.
I despise stupid questions designed to create animosity and tension between incredible athletes! Bike racing is hard enough t never mind having to deal with this line of questions are mental fatigue. Stop it.
I would have wagered good money that if Pogacar would had not crashed in the 2025 edition of Paris-Roubaix, then he would have been the champion over MVDP.

Was MVDP very good in the real mountains for sure he was the perfect one in road cycling. The mountains is a big handycap for Mathieu. I hope that he can win just ones Luik bastenaken luik. He make it already to the podium 3th place, so why not winning it. Lombardijen is mission imposible in my opinion but Luik Bastenaken Luik is posible.
