Currently riding a 2020 Kona SuperJake 52 and I swap wheelsets for gravel and road. I am looking to upgrade to a true road bike, though leaning towards endurance more so than race geo. I am 172cm with longer legs, but shorter reach. Current fitment frame stack and reach are 555cm and 370 for reference. I’d rather err on the side of slightly small and make bigger. For reference, between the Topstones the S fit much better than a medium, and the Checkpoint was the same with the 52 being what I needed.

The local bike market has a few of interest but am having a hard time deciding size/fit and use. Budget is less than 5k USD. Must haves: power meter, electronic shifting, tubeless compatible.

– 2020 S-Works Aethos 52cm (most expensive)

– 2020 Aethos Expert 52cm

– 2023 Cervello Soloist rival etap spec 54 (least expensive)

– 2022 Canyon Endurace CF SL XS

– 2021 Trek Emonda SLR 9 Dura Ace 52cm

– 2020 Canyon Aeroad CF SL Disc 8.0 Di2 S

– Specialized SL6 Disc Fact 10r (w/upgrades from stock) 54

Are there any more that maybe I missed? Are there any to stay away from? Are you happy if you have these bikes, and what are your sizes?

I’ve entered analysis paralysis and have compared geometry many times. Lots of these folks I’ve reached out to won’t allow for test rides and I know it’s not the best to go to my LBS and just try a bunch of stuff on and not buy. Just seeking guidance on maybe which direction I should lean.
