Respectfully, Wales did this years ago, in 2012 – The Wales Coastal Path. It's both the world's first walking path that encircles an entire country and the world's first continuous coastal path. So England's "King Charles" path is joining with the Llwybr Arfordir Cymru. Not the other way around.
So the history is being wiped out as kent coastal path is called the Saxon shore way, why dose it have to be changed, just link them up, it’s like St Stephens Tower, being renamed Queen Elizabeth tower, Queen Elizabeth Olympic park, the Elizabeth line.its ok naming something thats new, but not something that had history already.
What a precious waste of time and money for a country that is being invaded by Islamic terrorists and grooming gangs. Figures old Charles would do something like this.
I'm not sure this is a good idea, the coastal areas already get a lot of disturbance in fishing areas as it is, It'll just drive away the local wildlife.
