  1. How bout skip breakfast (morning) and break your fast at noon when you might need it. If you're avoiding carbs so you don't spike your glucose, and you're eating the other two ESSENTIAL macros of fat and animal protein, then you won't have sugar cravings and you can easily fast 18 hours eating only at noon and 6pm.

  2. Start the day with a protein and fat source then introduce sugars later, or do a morning workout then your okay to take sugars because your body will use the glucose.

  3. I like eggs with dill weed and feta or goat cheese. Learned it from a friend of mine in High School. Sometimes, they'd just eat goat cheese and fresh fruit before school. Dill cuts cholesterol although eggs are still good for you…but I like 3 eggs 🙂

  4. This was my issue trying to do a raw vegan diet. I don’t want sweet foods (fruit) all the time, and eating sliced cucumbers doesn’t scream breakfast to me 😆.

  5. I skip breakfast entirely! 😉
First meal of the day is many times, the only meal of the day, and it's fat and protein (animal sourced) based.

  6. I have had hydrating, juicy fruit every morning for years with no issues. Don't mix fruit with anything else and it doesn't cause issues, unless you also have too much fat in your bloodstream from the day before.

  7. We indians have always had Savory breakfast but then it is high in carbs . What are your suggestions for Savory BF for vegans like me .

  8. I have organic puffed spelt, with hemp seeds few walnuts and coconut milk , feel so much better, always have it about 11 am to get good fast time

  9. I understand the theory of what she's saying and I'm not saying I disagree. But I went to Europe recently and discovered that for breakfast that the countries I visited there almost invariably have a strong coffee and something sweet for breakfast. And statistically they live longer and look in much better shape than we do in America. So I can't help but wonder why that is?

  10. I can’t do a savory breakfast, I’m Italian ffs!! But I have ditched my beloved pan brioche or bread and jam for plain unsweetened Greek yogurt with nuts and berries. The eggs, veggies etc will be my lunch or dinner

  11. What do you define as a massive glucose spike after bfast for a non-diabetic? Up 30ml/dg over like an hour? Is a spike from 90-140 the. under 90 over the timeframe of an hour damaging? What is the range that you consider to be ideal for non diabetics?

  12. I agree somewhat and that is something you should do by default but eating carbs past 5 or 6 pm will keep most insulin resistant ppl with an all night even into the morning elevated glucose level.

  13. Yes to savory breakfast! I eat greek yogurt with nuts & seeds, hardboiled egg, avocado & coffee w/ stevia. Something I love to eat and I know is good for me.

Find that savory breakfast for you that you can't wait to eat every day whenever you break your fast. 😊

  14. I eat 2 time a day.. (16/8 fasting). I eat at 12 and 18 o' clock.
First meal I can't eat no sugars because it spikes glucose for the rest of the day. Second meal I can't eat no sugars or sweet stuff because it prevents weight loss because of the insulin spike. So when the f*** do I have to chance to eat something sweet once a day? This officially sucks!

  15. Hi, i’m not a breakfast person… i dont have appetite to eat before 1pm… but i love coffee + 40% almond milk + 60% hot water (no sugar nor cream) … is it normal to not have appetite in the morning?
