Personally I’d add an inner tube
I am adding tou innertubes. O it didn’t look like there is tape to my eyes. Thanx
You might want to add new tape, looks like some spiked bits coming through the tape and combined with the dimpled tape, it might cause a puncture in thin tpu tubes.
U ALWAYS need tape on brompton wheelset (OEM, can’t say anything about aftermarkets). picture shows that u could use a few extra layers of tape too. judging by the condition of the not so great burring at the spoke holes.
We gonna have to see how it holds up. I had no tape so after some said you’re ok i did without.
I’d swap the tape you do have for Veloplugs. You can get cheap copies now from Aliexpress and Amazon. I can’t imagine anythign that can puncture TPU that won’t also get through butyl a fraction of a second later
