Is it a diesel or a petrol engine.
When I bought my first pickup Nissan in 2005, price per liter was something like 0.60 MYR.
Today, it is 6.02 MYR
I really hope that it has a petrol engine for you guys

Iβve driven down Fraser Hill with a manual transmission car. Only tapped the breaks twice and used the transmission to slow the car down while ascending the hill. Fun!
Love you two but we are very worried about you in this awful camper! Is it too late to sell it and buy a pre-owned one instead? We think it's gonna be a nightmare for you both and you've made a dreadful mistake xx good luck x

Correct me if Iβm wrong, I think there are scheduled one way up/down traffic times in Fraserβs Hill, so as not to have problems with oncoming vehicles whilst on the narrow winding road. Itβs been years since Iβve been there, so probably thereβs another pass I know not of.
Try Janda Baik there are campsites for RVs there

I was surprised to see how the builder but things together with pins no screws hope it will hold together when you go on rougher roads ,you had a lucky escape when the steps ladder collapsed you could have easily done yourself some real damage,I hope everything goes ok with your trip but I have to say you have more confidence in the truck then I do ,the people who built it have left so many things not working why is this ,you two have more patience then me .well interesting blog just hope things get better πtill next time take care keep safe good luck πΉπ¬π§ππ«Άππ«£ππ€π£π€π’π

Thereβs a huge amount of unused underbody space that could have housed the systems and freed up valuable internal storage. Thatβs an upgrade you could still tackle later during your travels.
As for the step ladder… go to Bunnings when you're in NZ. Look for compact step ladders made by Little Giant or Gorilla, rated at 150kg.

This might be a bit overthinking but I wonder if you should keep a small retractable blade near the bed? If I fire happens between the bed and the door you can then cut your way out the canvas. You have lithium batteries and a kitchen near your exit.
The interior of your camper van is really cramped. It would have been better if you had bought a minivan and convert it into a camper van.

Nice to watch your travel again. The road up Frasers Hill has been converted to a One Way Road after the construction of a new road for going downhill. Before it was a One Way Road Hourly. One Hour open for uphill and the next hour open for downhill.

For any registration document in Malaysia, you have right to veritfy the particular before accepting it. So in this case you have right to refuse the registration card and JPJ need to amend it to your passport name.
