A_J_H1979 on April 5, 2026 9:10 am Around the clamp? …yes there should always be a small gap, or at least it should not look “tight” even when cranked down hard. The clamp is designed such that it will deform over time…when it clamps snuggly down, that is the time to replace the clamp.
