Nice 1993 time capsule – looks 100 % original. Good budget bike at the time, kind of the link between the entry level Marin bikes and the more serious mtbs. This was the cheapest Marin mountainbike with full Cromo frame and nice triple butted fork, probably was in the $400-500 price range – someone will know.
Geometry was sportive, and it was one of the lightest bikes you could buy in that price range. Marin really had a heart for people who couldn’t spend much on a good bike.
That said, I do think it’s not a bargain, but there’s not really many bikes around in this mint condition – question is what you want to do with it – put on a wall or ride?
