May not be the best sub, but I found this bike at a consignment shop for 35 bucks. I know nothing about biking but have been eating to get into it with my fiancé for a few years. Just casual park trails at first. Cant seem to find much on the bike online. Any tips or knowledge on what I got is much appreciated! Hope I didn’t pay 35 for junk

Can’t find a lot aswell but if it rides that’s awesome!
Some things that I would consider:
The bike has cantilever brakes. They are common on older bikes but don’t have the best stopping power. If the braking power seems to be low I would change the brake blocks and re tension the brake lines.
That being said you rear brake cable seems a little slackish. The brake lever should engage hard at about 1/2 of the whole space that it can move
