Rear of the bike was making a hell of a rattle when on the way home tonight. On taking the rear wheel off this was the amount of play I discovered on the rear sprockets.
I’m almost certain this is the source of the noise I could hear as everything else was good and tight.
Also am I right in thinking the Parktool lockring tool with the 12mm pin will tighten this?
I’m guessing this amount of play in the rear sprockets is bad?

There’s always a bit of play when it’s loose, you can even see the lock nut moving. Just torque it down to 40Nm
Is the cassette lock nut tight ? If it is, your hub doesn’t look too healthy mate.
