When I've ordered food to a hotel. I give my room number and also said I will meet in loby. It's more of a delivery person comfort thing/hotel thing. Idk either way
I know this is late but it is about privacy and security. But all buildings are different. Security for hotels because people lie asking to go up and then break into rooms to steal. Also people have affairs or other business and they don't want people to see them or try to get into their rooms. Celebrities or even some paranoid people got privacy issues. My building, they drop the food off at the service entrance where the security office is and the security brings it up. My sister's building, they just have an area in the mail room/package room area for food deliveries. You drop their food there and it's her responsibility to come down and get it.
I get into similar situations as a host at restaurants. People assume you're trying to inconvenience them for no good reason or expect you to read their mind and know their preferences right away. Super annoying bc not only do you have to argue with them but it also is an insult to your character
I live in colorado. My place is kinda like an alley. Its alittle drive way that ends to my yard. Well no one ever delivers anything to my place. I go out for every delivery whether it is groceries or door dash. I will never get man. Id rather get my food then it be left 3 houses up.
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
My stress level would be through the roof at the # of people that keep you waiting. WTF?? Do they not have the ability to to track it? Thats a rhetorical question.
To answer your question, you might lie about that if you didn’t want to bring the order up. It’s a reasonable assumption for people who don’t know that there really is a rule against that. I wouldn’t take it personally.
These people know that their buildings are difficult to get into so why tf are they not waiting in the lobby for them? Just making life harder for the delivery person…

A biking food driver…. No one is happy when they see your little bike icon pop up just saying…MY MAN.
He's not sick, he just has Covid and a really bad rash downstairs and bug bites. That's what he told me.
When you get your pro to grab the food
Pathetic security

Damn waiting 10 minutes for the client is diabolical
I never give me hotel room number. I always write, meet outside and I'm waiting outside 5-10 minutes before they're arriving.
These people never think at all. No way you can have people just walking up to hotel rooms. 🤦♂️
After waiting for about 10 minutes with $0 tips. What the heck
"I have a hard time believing that". Well, you're visiting DC, and Josh works daily in DC, so who do you think would be correct in this situation?
been watching your videos for awhile and then it started sending me other doordash biker videos
they don’t compare with your no hands delivery
John 16:33

I have a hotel here that has the same policy.

To the cow that came to get the order: The service industry is not here at your beck and call. Ridiculous.

Why does he bike on the sidewalk? Aren’t you like… not supposed to do that?
