Wow….I’ve never taken more than one 35 litre convertible backpack. This girl is WAY overpacked. And I’ve even gone smaller now ……one 21 litre convertible backpack, and a small crossbody sling. Even when traveling for six months at a time in south east Asia. One bag, carry on, minimalist travel is the way to go. You are so much freer when you don’t have a lot of stuff loading you down. Never check a bag, never wait at carousels. Your bag is always with you. Never worry about it disappearing, or who’s handling it. Travel light….travel happy.
You will be happier if you stay under 40liters. I now travel with a personal item only and never really miss anything. Just have to do laundry more often
I got the same bags! I can you you havent stuffed them as much as i did though! I had to take some clothes off and put them on before boarding the flight lol
Way, way more than you need for south east Asia. Loading yourself down with too much stuff. There are a couple of other girls on YouTube only travel with a 17 litre bag each. My first trip….four months long to south east Asia, I took only one 45 litre bag…..and even THAT turned out to be too much. My second trip.. two months, I took only one 35 litre bag. Allowed to carry on. No checked luggage. This year…..I’m going even smaller. A 21 litre convertible backpack/duffel bag. Hide away straps. And a crossbody sling bag. Carry on again. No checking bags. Not weighted down with lots of stuff. Only what is absolutely necessary. No “just in case” “I might need it” stuff. If I need something else….I’ll buy it in south east Asia, for probably a lot less than it costs in the U.S., Canada, or Europe. Minimalist one bag, carry on travel is the way. I will never be a “turtle backpacker” with an expedition backpack on my back and another backpack on my front. So much freer and less weight to carry, and less to worry about. I wish I could go as small as those other girls…..17 litres. But I think 21 litre backpack is the smallest I can go…together with the little crossbody sling.
It seems so heavy.Have you used the decompress anti-gravity shoulder strap air cushion?Evenly distributed pressure, reduced pressure, air permeability, buffering, massage.
