I am Indian & I strongly oppose such traditions. I don't like these rituals & ceremonies that pollute Water, Air & Sound. And Indian rituals & festivals are just that, No God would approve the noise they make during festivals, water they pollute in the name of rituals & Firecrackers they burn that pollute the air we breathe. If not for these things, Indian waters, sky & air would all be as clean & beautiful as any Asian or European countries.

When i went to the ganges, i didnt throw up. i felt refreshing, please dont go in the ganges in any other sites other than Haridwar
