Hi all,
As the title says, i bought a Cube Nuroad C:62 Pro of a popular german Bike Refurbisher (Rebike).
It was advertised with signs of wear on the drivetrain and fork, not the frame itself. The Pictures show scratches on the Chainstay, the left one seems kinda deep.
Am i being paranoid? Everything else seems to be fine and i wouldn't mind the scratches if putting some paint on it will be enough to fix them.

Don’t worry about the frame und the stability. It’s just a deep scratch. It should be fine. If you are not sure contact the seller.
These are paint chips/scratches
You can cover it with transparent nail polish
Sticker
Why buy carbon gravel bike if you will be worried about scratches? You want to ride fast on gravel, stones and pebbles and whatnot flying everywhere. Then you want to inspect the frame and loose nights of sleep wondering if this is finally it for the frame. Either buy aluminum/steel or throw the frame around until it shatters.
It was advertised with signs of wear…and has signs of wear. What’s the problem?
Frame is fine
Good news, someone else already did the hard part for you: getting the first scratches
I swear to God… The vast majority of people would be far better off if they had never heard of carbon fiber bicycles
Seriously, carbon offers no real world benefits to the vast majority of people it cost more it brings more stress and more worry into their life and the only thing they’re really getting out of. It is the bling factor of owning a “carbon bike”
For the same amount of money you can get titanium, which is a significantly better material to make a bicycle out of four almost everybody
That is just a scratch, nothing structural. My wife had one of these, i put some epoxy on the scratch and placed a sticker on top of it. Out of sight out of mind.
