The strong color sense was on full display: hues of jade, scarlet, and eggplant enlivened an array of mostly black, white, and gray. The lineup featured dark pinstriped suits, high-waist jeans and transparent plastic raincoats layered over tailored looks. The proportions were slim rather than the oversize. Clean lines and strong shoulders proved that classic tailoring will always reign supreme. One of the most refreshing aspects of the show: the chronologically diverse casting. Models of all ages were included, with ’90s icon Kristen McMenamy. The collection combined minimalist, powerful suiting with subversive, sensual elements like low-slung, strapped trousers, croc-embossed leather, and sheer PVC. “Seduction is a dialogue. Opposites that attract, the encounter of an embrace, personal histories that dissolve. My language, here, is one of seduction. Hard and soft. Sharp and cocooning. Purity, with tension. The perfect suit, twisted. They flirted with debauchery, now they stand straight. A magnified sense of daily life.” explained the Designer in the collection notes.
