I've been saving up for a while now and finally replaced my Motobecane Omni Strada Sport CX bike with a proper gravel bike. I was on the fence for a long time and really wanted to use FSA money to pay, so ultimately I chose the Obed MMR. I went with the SRAM Rival XPLR E1, FSA carbon seat post and stem and Vittoria Terreno tubeless tires. I ride a wide range of surfaces and hope to do more bikepacking this year and feel like I got a good all-around bike to handle what I ride.
My Motobecane was a $600 internet bike from China that I had hoped to get at least a couple of years out of and turned into over a decade of riding enjoyment. I am still going to hang onto it and may upgrade things a little so friends can join me on camping trips.
I'm so excited to get some miles on this thing! If anyone has any questions about the brand or model, feel free to ask away.

omg congrats on the upgrade! the rival xplr is such a good groupset for bikepacking and those vittoria terrenos are gonna handle whatever you throw at them.
I cant wrap my head around why they went with such a deep headtube. Nothing else on here is optimized for aero and that thing has to be crazy stuff in a spot that a gravel bike might want some compliance. That is a huge block of carbon.
