It is the beginning of March. Spring has finally arrived after 5 months of cold wet weather.
The sun is warm on my face and most importantly the cold wind has gone, time to see if I can manage a decent distance after only doing short rides over winter. I’ve got a route planned in my head of about 20 miles lets see how I get on.

This video is the third section of my route, having previously ridden from Pratt’s Bottom to Chelsfield village, then to Crockenhill.

Wheelchair: Invacare Storm 4 X-plore TT Plus, with 230Ah LiFePO4 lithium iron phosphate battery.

Most of my videos are electric wheelchair rides, with a GoPro camera attached to wheelchair filming what is around me. Some are electric wheelchair on road, others are electric wheelchair off road. On the road I mostly use an 8mph wheelchair, off the road I use an older 4mph wheelchair. I do not currently own a 6mph wheelchair.
Life as a wheelchair user is not easy, but a lot has been done to create accessible public transport, plus wheelchair access to shops and other buildings. While my health still allows – I try to get out and do things. Staying indoors doing nothing is not my idea of fun!
