She says it's about 7 years old and built as a pro rally raid BMX?

What are they asking for it?
Gt performer with some non stock after market upgrades. Brakes, rear wheel, front hub, chainring and seat have all been swapped out for better bits.
I’d say it’s older than 7 years old though, More likely 10-15 years. So summing up, some good parts, frames old and heavy. Depends what they’re asking, and of course what age and size your son is.
See of they would take 200 . It’s got some nice parts on it and it’s a GT. Better than a Walmart mongoose
It’s not worth £300, £200 if they’re lucky.
Any one have a better idea for a first BMX for dirt jumps?
He is 12 but quite tall, 5ft6 and growing fast?
Rather buy used as more bang for the budget?

It’s not 7 years old and very likely not worth $300. It kind of looks like it was pieced together from a few different bikes. The xposure brake is off a random walgoose, only the rear wheel and seat appear to be actual odyssey parts (and the front tire.) the rest of that bike is OEM and at least 15 years old – that colorway keys put as a 2010 gt performer. I’m having a hard time verifying the materials and such used- but given what I know that bike very likely isn’t full 4130. I’m sure someone with strong gt could answer that, but that ain’t me.
Maybe at $150, sure. But as it sits that’s a battleship riding mostly old tech.
ETA- i also don’t like that she’s making words up. rally raid bmx isn’t a thing. I smell fish.
If the frame is 4130, sure $300. If hi-ten or 4130/hi-ten mix then $200. Its got some good parts.
If you weren’t so far away, I could hook you up with a redline that needs a little tlc.
Way older than 7 years. My best friend had the same bike in like 2012. That said, it’s a bike shop bike that someone threw some decent parts on. I wouldn’t give over $175 for it, but personally I’d look elsewhere if you want something serious (depending on how hard your kid rides/how old he is).
Yo buy that bike. The front rim is an older odyssey colorway and might be worth some money and the seat looks like a fbm which would be worth some serious cash. A FBM stem just sold on eBay for 629 dollars at auction.
