My GSP once squeezed himself out of the window of the MOVING CAR because he saw a gopher. Thank goodness we were only going 10 mph down a long driveway to pick up my dad from work, but still. This was the same dog that also broke through the front glass window at our house when barking at my brother's lifelong friend that he saw nearly every day, then calmly jumped over the broken glass to get back into the house, turned around, and continued barking. 🤦♀️
My neighbors have a GSP and I insist on dog-sitting when they go out of town. Their GSP is the biggest goofball I've ever met. He's a hyper-active spaz who goes crazy when he sees a squirrel, but then he calms down and is the sweetest boy ever. While I don't think a GSP is the right dog for me, I sure do love borrowing one for a few days every so often.
Funny thing, I had a German short haired, pointer. She literally was nothing like a German short haired pointer was supposed to be like she never pointed. She was never playful. She was honestly lazy and adorable, but still literally nothing like that.😂
I love gsp. Getting another one in the spring. I love half of this video. The other half makes me angry watching someone videotape their dog, destroying stuff or doing things they should be correcting. Especially when owners that like to record the damage being done are the ones complaining the most about their dog.
I have a female 4 yrs old and she's the absolute best thing to come into my life since my sons were born. Lily is a fabulous pal. We go everywhere together.

I have a GSP. I've had a lot of different dogs over the years, but my GSP is my #1 favorite. Super smart dogs with great personality.
Love the bird dogs! Great attitudes, they're just happy go lucky, all they want to do is please.
