Where do you guys keep your mobile phones? I use a bag to do so? but is it right? Would keeping the phone in the pocket affect strava recordings?

In my fanny pack.
In a top tube bag, ideally. I just switched bikes though and I don’t have a top tube anymore. ☹️
At home where it belongs.
Jersey back pocket?

Tape mine to spokes like a baseball card.
Top tube bag. Saddle bag. Waist pack. Depending on what else I’m bringing, I move the phone around between those three spots.
(Only need the phone in case of emergency.)
Decathlon bike is good?
Middle back jersey pocket. In one of my bags if it’s raining.

In my wrist bag. Where i also keep my music player. The phone is in the innermost pocket so that i can sense the vibrations if someone calls, but it doesn’t work well anyway.

Team car holds on to it for me.
I put mine in a ziplock bag in my back jersey pocket.

I have a mount on my handlebars.
Strava accuracy will be the same regardless of where you put your phone
… unless it’s in a faraday cage
bum bag, jersey pocket, jacket pocket, or pannier depending on the situation
I can’t recommend Loop mounts enough.

My phone is almost always in a pocket. I’ve used Strava on it for countless rides including a century event, never affected Strava…I don’t know why it would.
