You have to press L1/R1 like crazy to go fast! But if you press R2 you drink steroids (Deluxe edition), then just press & hold L2 to ride.
Tapping ⬅or ➡ uses violence like Road Rash and pressing ⬇ rapes the leading guy.

I'm not sure how this is a game? Do you even move the bicyclist like in a racing game? Or do you just pick one and the computer plays it out and you hope you win?
