duMTBhings n°33: Downhill laps at the Pic Du Jer Bikepark (Lourdes, France)

Enjoy the ride and burn some calories from the comfort of your home.

After visiting my friends in Ariège, i decided to check out Lourdes, the most visited Christian pilgrimage site in the world (fact unchecked), but even though i attended a Rosary and got some holly water for the gran, i wasn’t there to pray, but to shred some awesome lines 😎🤙.
The park consist on only 3 downhill trails, a blue, a red and a black, with a few variants, but that’s more than enough to have fun. In the video i only show parts of the blue and the red. i went down the black once but it was way above my skill level, there was some huge gaps and doubles, super steep shoots, i basically went around most features so there was no point in filming it. the track was used in an UCI world cup event after all.
There’s also 3 enduro trails that start from up there but i havent tried them.
The way up is an extremely steep funicular, quite scary 😅.
