  1. If the components work and it fits then it’s a good bike. Test ride it, go through all of the gears and check braking. Inspect the frame where pieces meet and the rims, looking for cracks.

  2. Good bike, but they’re asking too much. I’d offer $300, pay no more than $350

  3. It’s a good bike, but it’s overpriced for a bike that must be 25 years old or older.

    Check the fork crown/leg junctions. I saw several of those fail. Luckily none resulted in bad crashes. The failure shows it self as the seam becomes more and more visible.
