Is cycling the best way to see Glasgow? 🚲

In this video I join Gallus Pedals, a brilliant local bike tour company, to explore the city from a completely different perspective. Instead of the usual sightseeing route, we cycled through hidden paths, leafy parks and historic streets while learning more about Glasgow along the way.

If you’d like to check out the tour for yourself head to their website:

The bikes themselves are part of the story too — refurbished ex-post office bikes that have been saved from landfill and given a second life showing visitors around the city.

On the tour we visited some fantastic spots including:
• Kelvingrove Museum
• The University of Glasgow
• The new Govan–Partick Bridge
• The Tall Ship and Riverside Museum
• Govan Old Church and the famous Govan Stones
• Hidden cycle paths and gardens around the West End

It was such a fun and sustainable way to explore the city — perfect for visitors or even locals wanting to see Glasgow from a new angle. Such a laugh and easy paced if thats what you want.

In my next video I’ll be exploring another side of Glasgow with a visit to one of the city’s preserved tenement flats and showing you around the hostel I stayed in — so make sure you come back for that!

Thanks for watching. Cheers, and let me know in the comments if you go or have been on tour with them! Ix
