Tom Pidcock, WVA and MVDP for sure, are best racer on the different soils as XCO and CX.
Pogacar is only parquetic roadie rider, no more. He is nothing in CX or XCO.
Pidcock made a big mistake. He started his sprint behind Pogacar, but shut it down. When Pogi looked back the second time, Pidcock should have hit him there. I think he'd have gotten a bit of a gap and then I don't think Pogi would have caught him. Still, the strongest rider won. People will be talking about his chase back after the crash, for decades. Did he teleport back to the bunch? He was behind by a lot and then almost instantly, he was at the back of the bunch. Then it seemed just a couple seconds later he was up front. Even the commentator said his chance of attacking on the Cipressa was gone. Absolutely stunning finale.
Now Pogacar has to be thinking about the feat that probably hasn't even been contemplated before. Winning all five Monuments in one season. This was by far the toughest for him to win. He showed last year that he can win Paris-Roubaix, and he's won Flanders twice. That leaves two virtual sure things, at LBL and Lombardia. It sounds insane because it is, but can anyone really say he can't do it?

The last parts of MSR are always one of the most entertaining 30min of cycling in the year. But boy this did deliver this year!
Pidcock and Pogacar are my two fav riders. I wasn't sure who to root for. Pidcock was visisbly saddened with his second place while he was on the podium. Congrats to all. It was a race for the ages from a fan standpoint.
And… of course… they had to cobble together a typically shitty and short and easy "women's" version of this bad ass race… that is LITERALLY HALF THE DISTANCE. WTF is wrong with the UCI??? Why do they always sell the "pro" women so SHORT… and just assume that they can't handle the distances–or the elevation gains??? (Or… is it that they actually CAN'T handle it???)

Thanks to the crash Tadej won this edition… The adrenaline made him set a record on the Cipresa. Thanks to the crash Poel lost this edition. The fact that such a large group could come nearby the two leaders says alot and also the fact that Tom could follow days alot. If Tadej and Poel would have stayed on the bike Poel would have won. But thats your cycling, so many unknown. Great.
How can Pidcock even hold his head up? Absolute wheelsucker, totally embarrassing to even try and outsprint Pog.

Awful highlights package. One minute wasted at the start and two minutes at the end. Three minutes of actual highlights of a 300km race. TNT as usual doing a disservice to the sports they cover, and charging us through the nose for the privilege.
This was the craziest race I've ever seen from Pogacar. And look at how fierce Pickok put up a fight, too. It was truly a hair-raising race.
Bodes well for the TDF for Pidcock
