Are you ready for 9k € brompton?
Hello. I asked that question some time ago here https://www.reddit.com/r/Brompton/comments/1ok7t77/when_will_a_titanium_version_of_the_g_line_be/.
I received many answers, and most of them coincided that it can not be predicted. But, there was also the question about the electric T line, which many redditors discarted the idea since they argued that it was adding almost half the weight of the T line. But now there is an electric version of the T line.
So, who knows, I think the titanium version fo the G line will come out eventually and even in electric version. But we have to wait until Bromtpon decides it is convinient to their profit. Remeber that Brompton is a business after all and they are after profits.
A titanium G-Line would be about £7500, electric probably £8500. The market would be vanishingly small, so it would be a risky strategy for a company making a small profit.
It won’t be anytime soon and possibly never depending on if Brompton think there is a viable market for it.
